Drylongso continually seeks writers, freelancers and guest editors to submit articles, essays, poetry, fiction, short shories, spoken word and opinion appealing to our audience and adhering to the focus of the publication. We also seek individuals to serve as Guest Editors for issues of the publication.

Call for Submissions
Writers may submit complete articles or an abstract. Abstracts should contain the following elements:

A guest editorship consists of a series of articles that address a particular topic or theme that has either been requested in the call for submissions or proposed by an individual. The minimum number of articles in a series is three, though some genres will have a higher minimum, poetry for instance. Complexity of the issue being addressed will also determine the number of articles and requested elements in a series.
Unlike a single article contributors, a guest editor will be responsible for obtaining illustrations, related links and a recommended reading list. All work will be original and not published previously. It is possible for individuals to collaborate, but only one individual will be contracted.
Drylongso is a copy-written site. The site maintains one-time publication rights. Authors are responsible for filing the proper paperwork to establish copyright.
Drylongso will accept previously published material, but requires notification of this fact and appropriate crediting information. All materials should be properly cited where necessary, using complete author's name, title of work and publication date (standard journalistic format). Do not use academic citation formats such as MLA, APA or Chicago Style.
Payment will be remitted upon publication via PayPal.com.
